Welcome to Tiffany Riffer Soap!

My name is Tiffany, and I like to make soap.  

I am originally from California, but moved to Washington, DC in 2010. I am a lawyer by training, but I discovered cold process soap making in January 2020, and have been hooked ever since! After making dozens of batches of soap, I decided to start my homemade soap business in May 2020.

Beyond the beautiful designs and wonderful scents, I love how useful, long lasting, and practical a quality bar of soap is.  

My business model is simple. 

• For the Natural product line I use only natural ingredients with essential oils and natural colorants.  
• For the Creative product line I use fragrance oils and mica based colorants.  
• For the Seasonal product line I create theme based soap based on upcoming holidays or notable month-long observances (i.e., pride, breast cancer awareness).  For Seasonal products I may use fragrance oils, and mica based colorants in order to create the desired look and scent for the soap, or, where possible, natural colorants and essential oils.  

For all of the product lines, I identify the exact ingredients used in each batch of soap so you can be as informed as possible when deciding which soap you'd like to buy!

All of my soap is made in small batches to ensure the highest level of quality, using the traditional cold process soap method.
